Tatyana was the first bartender I met, she created an experience so wonderful it’s kept me coming back.

“This bar is located in a small town. The bartenders are great. They will come over and start up a conversation with you while serving you. They serve food like burgers, fish and chips, chicken strips, and other stuff. They have a few video lottery machines. There is inside seating with tables that has 4 tvs that play sports and news or whatever you ask. They also have outside seating with tables and heaters for the colder months. They serve all kinds of different alcohol and if requested, they can make specialized drinks. It may be a small town bar but you get great service and the bartenders remember you if you go more than once.

Parking: There are parking spots located on the side of the building as well as street parking in the front of the building.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp located on the side of the building as well as the main entry that has stairs into the bar.“

“They could improve by not letting their patrons getting harassed by old drunk bigots. I've never been called so many slurs in a short period since it was socially acceptable to do so. Times have changed but they clearly allow this behavior and. it is UNACCEPTABLE. The bartender was a complete bystander and did absolutely nothing other than acknowledging that the situation happened. "You're in the wrong bar" I was told. “Rainy-Day Comfort at Mt. Angel Sausage Company

We stopped into Mt. Angel Sausage Company with a friend visiting from out of town, hoping for something hearty on a classic rainy, overcast Portland day. We ordered the combination platter, which comes with five different sausages, fried potatoes, and sauerkraut. All but one of the sausages were really good — flavorful, well-seasoned, and satisfying.

I paired the platter with a delicious cider recommended by our adorable, knowledgeable, and exuberant server, Teresa, whose warmth and enthusiasm added a lot to the experience.

The restaurant has an enormous outdoor patio that we couldn’t take advantage of because of the weather, but it looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a sunny day.

“Best place to get a little buzzy with your homies. I definitely get the vibe that this place is lgbtqia+friendly. The Jell-O shots are boozy! Tacos are crunchy, or soft, depending on your preference. Lots of eligible hott single dudes on Tuesday nights for trivia. But not Thursdays. Just Tuesdays for hot guys. And tacos. And Sarah the most attentive and friendly and caring bartender a real badass with great taste in music. Witty! A true gem. Love this place! My Tuesday family. I was very surprised by the quality and way it was prepared. It is a special treat for me being a single person.
