“Their wine is outstanding. The view from the deck is beautiful. The owners are super friendly and fun. They also did not charge meto taste.I find that too many of the Oregon wineries I've visited charge to taste and the wine is often overpriced. I find significantly better wine in Fair Play, CA for less and they rarely charge down there.Soloro impressed me and my family. We will be back again!“

“This is a definite stop to do a wine tasting and buy several bottles of fabulous wine. The owners are extremely friendly and will great you themselves with open arms and serve you some fabulous wine in their great tasting room.This is a Harvest Host location, so we stayed the night on their property. It was quiet, and beautiful.“

“I had my first visit here, first time tasting Troon's wines, in fact, last week, along with my sister and mother. Highly impressive place, wines, and people. Both reds and whites--Syrah & Roussanne, especially--were outstanding and would be stylistically familiar to those who mostly drink French wines. They taste like a place, which is as the best wine should. Superior service and knowledge from the woman who took care of us--Desireé, I believe. Outstanding.

BTW, I've lived in Napa Valley for almost 30 years and lived in Alexander Valley/Sonoma County before that. I wish there were more wineries down here that shared Troon's qualities. One side comment--while I have trouble finding the scientific basis of biodynamic ag, I can't argue with the wines.“
