“I came here once like 10 years ago back when it was Dea’s, and it was more diner-esque. Now it’s more of a sports bar (though still family-friendly) and I love the atmosphere. I ate here with my mom today and I was very pleased with the food and our service. I loved my sandwich, and our sever Aaron was all by himself running 6+ tables but he did it with grace and kindness. I am looking forward to coming back!“

“I will die on the hill that Cully Central is one of the best food spots in Portland and easily in my top 5, possibly top 3! I see other reviews say it's too salty- I love salty/savory so if you don't, keep that in mind. The Nam Khao is my favorite and I genuinely feel sad whenever I finish it because there isn't more. Second favorite is the Tom Yum. Amazing on a cold and rainy day. Lao sausage- amazing. Wings- delicious. Everything I've tried has been flav-or-ful. “I really love this place! They have good food. They also have karaoke, and pool. Also the poker machines have a seat big enough for two at a machine. It's literally one of my most favorite places to go to gamble!. Also the bartenders are all very nice! They also have this really awesome fire pit/table inside it's sweet when it is winter and you are waiting for a machine. And the place is just super huge I mean very large like multiple pool tables and they the fancy ones. Karaoke isn't every day I'm not sure on the days any longer but it's way fun there. And the bar tenders and super intensive to the clients. There is an actual cook so the tender doesn't have to make the food as well and serve drinks which is awesome“

Every time we drop in, we make an attempt to try something different, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've somehow missed out on becoming a wing connousieur, but I'm turning into a big fan of the ones here. So far, we haven't gone wrong with whatever drink special they have, any random Thai dish that sounds interesting, and an order of wings. Short Round is quickly becoming a favorite spot when we're looking for something quick and genuinely tasty. Ordering at the counter and taking a number to your table makes service quick and painless.“

“This was our first time here and we were truly impressed. The hostess was awesome, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. There's outside seating as well. I had the hand breaded chicken stripes y husband had fish and chips. Three breading was the best I've ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. The prices are average for this area. They have a happy hour menu for Sun-Thurs that's for lots of choices. We will definitely return.“

“Have only been blessed with food from here twice, recently with some tomato soup and bread someone dropped off at camp which was really good and about 5 or 6 years ago one of the ladies there hooked me up with an elk burger that was incredible. Makes me happy that I spend time cleaning up the area after all the folks that toss the fast food trash out the door before driving home

Parking: Can be a little tricky as the parking for most businesses in the area is side street parallel. There's a large lot next door for McDonald's but they've been known to tow people, part of the lot is out in front of over and out but I'm not sure if that's McDonald's as well. There is a lot at 81st and Washington at Milwaukee lumber where it's ok to park after 5pm up to around 630am and one across 81st at atc autobody but watch for broken glass in that one esp near Dumpsters“

The kitchen punches way above its weight for a Sports Bar, they make their soups from scratch & everything I’ve tried is exceptionally tasty. Great variety of salads for those who aren’t meat eaters.

Between the top notch friendly service, the cordial atmosphere & the fantastic kitchen, this is one of Portland’s hidden gems. I say this as a former sports bar owner myself, that was once profiled in Time Magazine, it doesn’t get any better than Peter’s, bar none.“
