Jalsa Indian cuisine Reviews
Jalsa” is one of the best Indian restaurants in Portland! Their South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese dishes are all absolutely delicious. I recently hosted my son’s birthday celebration for 15+ people here, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot.
The food arrived in 5mins which was impressive, especially for a larger group. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent.
I highly recommend Jalsa if you’re looking for delicious, fresh,...read full review

We had a wonderful experience with our family of five ❤️ The dishes to try are as follows: the Globe Manchurian, paneer Manchurian and the noodles!!!
Rhe quality and quantity of food was good. The ambiance reminded me on restaurants back in India. Interior is done beautifully. Great place to visit with family and friends.

Jalsa Indian cuisine is one of the best Indian restaurants in Portland. The menu includes South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese dishes that are all delicious. Customers say the food arrives quickly, often within five minutes, and is served hot and fresh. The service is described as excellent and the staff is friendly and attentive. Many guests celebrate special occasions there, such as birthdays and milestone dinners, and the restaurant always exceeds expectations.
The food is praised for its flavor and quality. Highlights include chicken appetizers, Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Tikka Masala, fresh naans, free Rasmalai, chicken biryani, garlic naan, vegetable pakoras, chicken tikkas, goat curry, and vegetable biryani. One reviewer noted that the garlic naan was slightly hard, but the biryani was top tier. The interior is beautiful and the ambiance reminds people of restaurants back in India. Outdoor seating is available, and reservations are advised on weekends. Overall, Jalsa offers authentic, fresh, and tasty Indian food with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.
