So Shari's came recommended to me. First time in Portland area. So I had the country fried steak dinner with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. I had a long day at work and I just wanted good comfort food. I'm a chef and been in the industry for years. Sherri's is a nice old-fashioned diner. Their pies are incredible and the coffee is good. They do have reasonable prices for their food.Parking: they have their own parking lot ran next to the Diner. On weekends it could be a little difficult to find parking because it Might be full.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid's menu.

Once I got my meal, I never saw the sites again. She got a bit swamped, I get it.I saw a couple walk in and stand & wait to be greeted and seated. Neither happened, so they walked out. You've got to have fast & friendly hostsses/hosts with their head on a swivel (I used to be one, so I'm speaking from experience). Food was really good!
