It has a simple menu, steak burgers, etc. Darker atmosphere as far as lighting goes. Bar is a full bar, decent drinks as far as we could tell. Make reservations or just drop in. Service is good and the prices are probably comparable to other restaurants of the same caliber considering prices in restaurants these days.
My party's meals were satisfactory. My meal, a bone-in ribeye was not so good. Over-grilled and tough as leather. The grilled onions tasted awful. I have no idea what the chef put on them. Tasted like straight vinegar...awful. I moved the grilled onions off of the steak but the vinegar flavor could not be removed. A displeasing experience for me. It is doubtful I will return.
Have never once had a bad meal at Stanfords! A lot of choices, very good service. It's a shame a few of the locations closed after covid, like so many restaurants. Get out and support this one!!!!
