“HIDDEN GEM! We stopped by to get some gas in Hood River and I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had a coffee shop inside! Taylor helped me. She was so friendly and fast! She really lived up to the saying on your cup, "coffee made with heart and served with a smile " Thanks for the great service! I had an iced horseshoe latte with white mocha and drizzle. It was delicious! Sweet as desired, but with a good balance of milk and coffee. I will definitely keep this place in mind when passing through this area again!“

“I stop at Dutch bros often. I love the friendly baristas who are so glad to see me. 😀 So many choices for your coffee drinks!
Parking: This is a drive through coffee shop. Some parking. Walk up window and outside seating.
Kid-friendliness: Kids can get hot chocolate. Other non coffee drinks are available.“
“Beautiful Family-frienly shop. It is Hood River's Living room.“
“The perfect coffee shop! The barista is super friendly and helpful! The hand-crafted drinks taste like they are made with care, not just churned out of an assembly line. The breakfast burritos are fresh and delicious. The outdoor seating is lovely, but if you are in a hurry, it's easy to get in and out fast. Prices are very reasonable. Great place!“

“Workers seemed nice, but they were so focused on their work I felt a little out of place. Tried to make small talk but their responses were quite cold. Would be 5 stars if the atmosphere was better. Coffee was fantastic though
Kid-friendliness: So kid friendly! Other than the accent wall with the naked ladies ?“

“Pine Street Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/15/22, I stopped in Hood River, Oregon to check out Pine Street Bakery. Owner Megan Davis’s mother started Grand Central Bakery in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Today, there are 11 locations between Portland and Seattle. If you ever have an opportunity to visit a Grand Central Bakery/Café, I recommend it. I wanted to try one of their famous Cardamom Knots, which are Challah dough slathered in Vanilla Butter, covered in Cardamom Sugar and tied in a Knot. Unfortunately, they were out. I got a Carrot Cake cupcake ($5), which is one of their best sellers, as well as a Maddie Cake cupcake ($5). The Maddie Cake cupcake is a seasonal cupcake that changes with some regularity. The current Maddie Cake cupcake is Peaches & Cream. It is Vanilla cake filled with Peach compote made from local peaches, topped with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Butter cream frosting. I enjoyed both cupcakes but my favorite of the two was the Maddie Cupcake because it was so unique. There was a generous amount of peach compote in the center of the cupcake, as well as on top. The compote had great flavor. Both cupcakes were fairly dense but moist. In addition to the baked goods and breads, Pine Street Bakery has Breakfast, Lunch, and Coffee menus, as well as specials. They also sell a lot of other products and fresh flowers. Highly Recommended!!!“
“I discovered this coffee when I got an excellent latte at White Salmon Baking Co. in White Salmon WA. They sell bags of a blend called Baker’s Blend at the counter in the bakery. Really happy about this because I can make excellent espresso at home with this blend and I don’t have to drive over to one of the Hood River retail outlet coffee roasters to get fresh beans“

“Usually no complaints about this location. However last 3 times I’ve ordered via app, I’ve waited more than 10 min for simple items. Yesterday I finally said something because I saw the drive thru moving along. I personally waited 14 min for an iced tea. Rest of my order was getting cold. And I was not the only one. Just 5 other customers inside. Employee said they were short staffed even though I saw 2 who were stocking and leisurely chatting w each other. Employee said there “was nothing” they could do. There is. If you’re SO understaffed, turn off app ordering. I’ll see the long drive up line and make an informed decision that you’re backed up. But allowing app order, you force me to wait when I don’t have 14 min to spare. No one in the drive up waited as long as those of us inside. Do better.“
“Definitely stop in for a coffee! This is on my way to work and has become a regular stop for me as the conversations, food, and coffee are next to none. Plus it’s locally owned what is better…“

“Some assembly required. We went through the drive through before burgers were available. Being a person that is not big on biscuts, I asked if I could get a sausage patty on a hamburger bun. They granted my request and I asked for catsup and mustard on the sandwich. They were even kind enough to toast the bun on the grill. When I opened the sack I found two buns with nothing in them or on them. There was another small box containing the sausage patties. No catsup or mustard in the sack. Sometimes you shake your head and laugh.“

“That roaster smell hits you immediately. Owner operator is friendly and knows àll coffee. Interesting to peek in the back at the goings on and ask questions about the big bags of beans. I happened in on Sunday which is when they clean the machine. That means on Sunday you can't choose to grind the beans in house. The dog actually runs the place and would appreciate a treat just for you walking In the door. Respectfully.“
