Pub/brewery/tasting room/ whatever you want to call it can be Disney commercial esque. NOT here! Wow. So good. Delightful. Thoughtful options. Tells one that they actually care.
Mac and Cheese easily elevates to my top five on earth. Aioli was dynamite. Had to order an extra to slip the fries. Cabbage was simple elegance. Beer salad was the only disappointment. Greens, a few beets and and an orange or two to disguise the overabundance of lettuce.
So impressed....
Love that the menu has things labeled as vegan or vegan friendly with notes on how to customize a dish. Vegan mac and cheese was the best Ive ever tried any where. There is also a veggie burger, farro bowl, and multiple loaded salads. Also some bomb appetizers.
Excellent food, amazing beer, fantastic service. The beer is so good, I almost always forget about the food. Might have been because I just came off the trail, but my food absolutely crushed. If you're visiting Hood River, make time to head down to the river park and check out those businesses.
