“Went on a Sunday, and the young gentleman behind the bar acted like he didn't even want to be there. People had to wait for refills, tables needed to be cleared, and dirty glasses were stacked 2 to 3 high. The whole time, he was more interested in playing on his phone. Guess that's the generation these days. Not very good for business and hoping for return customers.”

“7-31-2025 Visited after leaving Eugene Airport, had a delicious chicken fried steak, with pop's potatoes, biscuit and coffee. Our first time was very impressed. The waitress Kendra (thinking that was her name) was very kind!!!”

“Been dining at Tin Sing for 24 years. Moved away in 2019 and every time I’m back I make it a point to eat there. The is food constant as it was then and now. For me it’s comfort food, the staff has ALWAYS been courteous and helpful.”

“We had a large rehearsal dinner planned at a local restaurant. Unfortunately things happened and we were left with finding a new spot to seat and serve 33 people in a matter of minutes. A quick phone call to the restaurant and we were on our way! Not only did they seat this large party at the last minute but orders were taken drinks served and food arrived in remarkable time!! Babs and her staff are amazing!! Thank you so much for making a disaster a beautiful memory!!”

“Visited upon a recommendation from a fellow sourdough baker. We made it later in the afternoon so didn’t get the boring freshness but our cookies and cinnamon roll were tasty!
They were friendly and willing to answer my many questions about the flour they use and what the differences between them were.
It’s off the beaten path but most good things are! It was worth the visit!”

“We just randomly stopped here before heading to the airport, and I will now make sure to stop here every time I'm in the area! This was the best tasting coffee I've had in a while, and the strawberry/mango smoothie was also delicious. Also, their prices were cheaper than the bigger coffee chains.”

“I have been so stressed while in school. I was feeling down and unmotivated, so I came here to sit down and get something to drink to motivate me to study and Alexis took my order. She is absolutely amazing. You do NOT meet people like this in customer service anymore, especially at any starbucks now days. She had a smile on her face, very nice, amazing personality, and she offered me water since I've been sitting here for a while. She even brought the snack that I ordered over to my table where I am studying currently. I wish every employee had her approach because this is very hard to come by! She deserves a raise!!”

“Stopped in for a quick caffeine recharge before driving home to Portland. I arrived 15 minutes before closing last night, and the staff were SO NICE. Oh, and my fresh-brewed coffee was tasty, and relatively inexpensive. 5 stars all around! Highly recommend this outpost of the Mermaid Empire.”
