“Tried the seasonal eggnog cake. If tiramisu met a white sheet cake at the holiday party and got sloppy together - it would be this cake. The moisture and flavor of the eggnog soaked the cake from the bottom up. The creamy icing on top sprinkled with nutmeg brought home the tiramisu vibe. Pretty good effort at a fancy cake by a cookie company.“

“My husband and I love the bingsu from this dessert shop so much, we had to bring our daughter and son-in-law to experience it too. We tried the ube and matcha bingsu. Both were excellent. I especially loved the sweentened milk texture. The homemade ice cream scoops were delightful and tasty. The presentation of the bingsu were amazing.

I understand that it takes a long time to make one bingsu. There were only two workers on staff that Sunday afternoon. Both of them were making our bingsu dessert. The matcha bingsu was done way earlier. They left the matcha bingsu on the counter and waited until both bingsu dessert were made before calling the number. I wish they had called us earlier for the matcha bingsu. It was melting a little by the time we got called. But overall both of the bingsu desserts were so good. We all enjoyed them. The staff were very nice. We will definitely go back again. I may try the mango bingsu next time.

I have finally found the best bingsu joint! I had to try the ube bingsu because of the ube ice cream. They claimed they make ube ice cream in-house. They also claim that they make matcha ice cream in-house, I will have to try it next time.

I ordered a large ube bingsu to share with my husband. First of all, the presentation of the bingsu was perfect. We figured that the whole bingsu measured to about the size of my husband's hand! As I was taking the bingsu to my table, I was worried that the ice cream would tumble to the floor. It was like an art. I absolutely love the presentation!

The ube ice cream scoop was huge. Sitting on top of the perfectly sculpted shaved milk, it was almost too gorgeous to eat. The shaved milk was the correct texture. It came with a ribbon of red bean along the edge of the bowl. I was impressed that the shaved milk was built to the edge of the bowl. The bowl was nicely chilled and was quite deep. I think a large could easily serve 3 people but 2 people was just right for my serving :) There was also red bean around the ice cream. The bingsu also had some shredded coconut, sliced almonds and some sprinkle of ube dust. It was so perfect that I will be using my picture as my wallpaper on my cell :)

The best thing about bingsu is that I don't have guilt after eating it. It is just like having a large glass of cold milk with red beans. I think if they also come with some mochi pieces, then it would have been 100% perfect.“

Need to train people in customer service. Maybe I’m just getting old but a greeting when you come in, or even just an acknowledgment would be nice.

“I ordered a gender reveal cheese cake for my twin pregnancy, they were able to accommodate the as little sugar as possible since the father has diabetes and I have gestational diabetes. It was done perfectly in my opinion and takes like coconut and hazelnut to me, but they have other flavor options, I just told them to surprise me. I would definitely buy from them again in the future. It definitely wasn’t an easy order for them since we are having a girl and a boy on top of the needing to limit sugar and gluten, but they did amazing and was the only place I was able to find in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA area to accommodate. “To say this company went above and beyond is an understatement. I had a baker last minute no show to a wedding I recently coordinated and within an hour and a half after talking with them we had a new wedding cake and table of desserts. WHICH WERE SUCH A HIT!! “The bingsoos are fantastic on a hot summer day. My wife and I ate here 3 days in a row, because…why not? The half strawberry, half mango is refreshing and the shaved ice itself has a sweet, creamy texture. One of the other days I ordered the black sesame bingsoo, which was also excellent. The different toppings reminded me of halo halo (a Filipino dessert).

The reasons I gave them 4 stars is not because of the food. This place is severely understaffed on summer days and the wait is incredibly long when everyone is getting off dinner at the same time. We luckily beat most of the crowd, but still waited 30 min to get our order. Two employees is not enough to keep the traffic moving. Understaffed also means tables are not maintained and tend to be covered in a sugary, sticky mess.

Update: 11 months later and the wait times are much more reasonable. Typical wait is about 5-10 minutes after ordering. It can use more seating and someone to wipe down the tables from time to time. The restroom isn’t maintained well either. Inside is always stuffy, as if there’s no air conditioning.“

“Omg I loveeeeee this place. This is the only place with wonderful Jasmine milk tea, and they also have a strong milk tea they call Classic milk tea. If you need some caffeine to start a new day, this will be the perfect place to stop by. The staff are so friendly and care about customers, even though some customers are aggressive. Definitely coming back when we're nearby.

P/s: There are some limitations about parking during lunch and dinner hours, make sure you check in with staff before you get there.“

“This is one of the only shave ice places in the area with an actual ice shaver. The chai/ginger combo with sno cap was as expected. And the ginger was spicy! The ice is creamy and melts in your mouth.

I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for authentic shave ice with excellent homemade syrups.“
