You can tell the owner puts her heart and soul into her food! This is the perfect little spot to pick up a little something and go. Whether it's a snack or a sandwich with sides, you're never disappointed. She even puts little edible flowers or fresh herbs for plate appeal.
The space is small but the flavors are big, fresh, and each ingredient thoughtfully handled. I tend toward whatever version of a BLT is available, and Alicia's doesn't disappoint - perfectly crunch bacon, lightly-dressed fresh greens, and a sundried tomato aioli (since we are sadly out of heirloom tomato season), all in grilled, pillowy bread. Had one of the best lunches I’ve had in downtown Medford. A humble meatloaf sandwich with a fresh squeezed apple carrot ginger juice that were to die for. This was not the old school meatloaf I grew up with that was dense and over baked. Instead it was rich and flavorful but so light and melt in your mouth yummy.
