Looking for a sit down sandwhich shop on my road trip home and this shp popped up. Did not dissapoint. I had the Ruebin. Full of both Pistrami and Sauerkrat. I was full with half the sandwhich. Excellent pickles. The strawberry lemonade had real strawberry's. Pleasant atmosphere, cushy chairs to sit at the tables. Must be a favorite, because they were busy.
I had the grilled chicken basil pesto wrap. It was delicious. Stuffed with chicken and vegetables with just the right amount of sauce. One criticism: it was wrapped in plastic wrap instead of parchment paper. PLEASE don't do that. We get enough plastic in our food as it is. But I will be back because the sandwich was that good.
Excellent sandwich shop that has been around for 50 years. Might be under new ownership, and they've enlarged the location, but the food is great! They've even increased the size of the menu, but my favorite is still their sandwiches. Service was also great.
