Love Dave’s Killer Bread. We mostly purchase the thin sliced organic Good Seed. We want the nutritional benefit of the seeds and it has less sugar than his other breads. We only have one gripe, a lot of the seeds don’t stay on the bread. It’s mostly the black sesame seeds. It’s hard to get the nutritional benefits of the seeds if they don’t get eaten. Their Bread is simply Amazing. What is it Dave's Killer Bread was founded by Dave Daul who served time in prison and actually a lot of their employees are also Ex-Cons but don't let that turn you off. Everyone there with a criminal record is working hard not just to better themselves but also be productive members in society. They want that second chance and don't want to go back to prison. Fresh bread at a great price. They have “day old” bread for a cheaper price and then frozen bread (2-9 days old) even cheaper than that. Friendly cashier and there are lots of ways to get discounts!! You get a punch card too to reward you when you buy 10 loaves, get one free.
