“The store is great. So many products & such a fun space. Everyone who works here is really nice. 5 stars.

Unfortunately we made the mistake of eating lunch here & it was just awful. Both the burger & the biscuit breakfast sandwich we ordered sat for a long time before we got the text our order was ready. The gravy had formed a skin on the top by the time we received it, all of the breads had gone soggy, & my burger was barely warm. I saw the guy sitting next to us had ordered the French dip & it barely had any meat on it, so it seems like all the food is subpar & it wasn't just a problem with our order. Won't eat here again, but will be back for the store.“

“Coming back from a hike at Powell Butte, a friend and I stopped by here to enjoy a lunch. The breakfast sandwich (~$6) and the croissant sandwich (~$8) I got were both refreshing and filling, and I got to sample some of another sandwich (~$14) which definitely I would have to take half home if I had it for myself. The ambiance was very relaxing and I could see myself doing an artistic venture here. I also had a latte which did the job for me. The highlight was the cannoli which I've never had before. But the ricotta cheese and the pastry puff complemented eachother perfectly and the choice of almonds, chocolate chips, and pistachios at the ends of the cannoli made a fun pizzaz. would love to come back more frequently if I lived closer!“

Every time there is some stupid TikTok craze that completely ruins the business, you have tourists, influencers, and even annoying wannabes—just taking pictures and being sucked into the continuous wave of social media pollution. This does not mean the bakery is good or even the baker is good at what they do.

I'm happy to announce that if you want to experience a French-style croissant, which I'm reviewing. You have found it. This place correctly double bakes the croissant and has the even butter flow as squish the dough. Thank you! You have mastered it, and this was the next level. “Mehri's is the best breakfast in Portland. The country breakfast is to die for with tender biscuits and sausage gravy with plenty of meat. The sweets are also memorable with apple gellate and scrumptious brownies and cakes/cookies. Such a warm neighborhood atmosphere that is always welcoming whether you a first timer or a regular. Fluffy, fruit, light and refreshing. I'm just not a fan of the store bought cakes with heavy icing. They make the cake on the same day you pick up (need to order ahead of time)“

“I've never taken the time to write a review for any business, but am pretty put off and have the time. Today is my husband's and my 11th wedding anniversary. We had Saint Cupcake at our wedding with a cupcake tower and wedding topper cake in 2011. To celebrate our 11 years of marriage, we went to go pick up cupcakes. Based on online information and the sign on the door, the business closes at 5pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 4:20PM - 40 minutes before closing. Both doors were shut and locked, but there were two employees inside and cupcakes on the back counters. They ignored us, even though I attempted to open each of the double doors - they wouldn't even look up. I knocked on the door and the woman sweeping reluctantly came and opened the door and told us that they had unfortunately closed early due to some issue. I tried to explain to her we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had had Saint Cupcake at our wedding 11 years prior. She said they didn't have much of a selection left anyway and closed the door on us. It was a shocking and weird interaction and I was really put off. I will never go out of my way to give Saint Cupcake my business again in the future. 👎👎“
