“This won best donut in Portland for a reason. It is my fav donut place in the US honestly. Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place is and how high quality the donuts are. What makes it even better is the joy Penny and Boun exude. Family-owned, but Delicious Donuts makes you feel like part of their family too! Must try for anyone who is a donut aficionado and definitely for anyone living in PDX!!!“

“This is our go-to donut shop! Seriously the best traditional donuts. Always perfectly fried. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Their fritters are one of my favorites! My son loves that their bear claw has apples.(so yummy) Everything is great, you can't go wrong with any choice here. Also, their staff is always friendly and helpful and super sweet with my kids. 💕 Love supporting this local business!“

“The only powdered chocolate cream donuts anywhere in town (and I've checked), just the way Winchell's used to make them: absolute perfection! The other donuts are incredible, too, but the powdered with the poof of chocolate icing is my go-to 4 LIFE! When my husband and I journey 25+ miles to a Sesame Donuts and our box of donuts is in our car, I may spontaneously serenade my donuts. They're THAT GOOD! 🎵 "Oooh, chocolate poopers, you are the best donut in the world!" 🎵 😄“

“It’s Blue Star. Enough said, right?! IYKYK. Hands down our PDX fave. Move over Voodoo, you’ve become completely irrelevant in the doughnut landscape that makes up this fine, French brioche landscape. They often sell out. And they’re often on the Too Good To Go app, so that’s a major win. Customer service is far superior to the regular Portland slump. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Yo dude, so like... these donuts are pretty wild man. The voodoo doll one is trippy, got that raspberry jelly that's just *chef's kiss*. Line was kinda long but worth it for sure. “A counter service donut shop with beverages. They say they are donuts for grownups with interesting flavors. I think kids will like them too. Just one small table inside and a few bar stools at the window counter. There are a couple of picnic tables outside and a park just across the street.“

“The maple bar was more visually appealing, but I accidentally smashed it so that’s why it looks like that, but it’s still really good ! I love sesame doughnuts! All locations I’ve been to throughout the trip city Portland metro area are good consistency and all taste amazing for their doughnuts!!! The blueberry and apple fritter are so tasty!!! And I love the tasty soft and decadent maple bar!!!“

“I love the variety of flavors they have. My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“

“Wow! Just wow!! I mean, did I say WOW? I went there specially for pumpkin pie. What i got was not just a pumpkin pie, it was a taste of absolute joy. Joy I say! Smooth, creamy, firm, but not too firm, a rich, utterly delicious crust that was more like layers than an actual crust. Moist through and through! When I get back down to Portland metro area again, it'll be my first place to go! You should make it YOUR first place to go to, too!! Simply wonderful!!!“

“Excellent service. There was no one there so she had a little extra time. Gave a little history of the company. The apple fritters are absolutely the best apple fritter I've ever had anywhere. I've had them in Denver and now in Portland. No other apple fritter can even come close. They crunch just the right amount apples and glaze. Oh, they're just great.“
