“Absolutely adorable spot with an adorable owner and amazing food. Please do yourself a service by getting any of their burgers, my favorite being the BBQ and limited Hawaiian.Vegetarian options: All-vegan and all-delicious.Parking: Across the street there's free 2-hour parking. Park there instead of the 15-minute parking in front of the building. I never had a problem finding spots for lunch on weekdays.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor, and lots of space. As long as you can get through the door it is wheelchair accessible.“

“Smoking as always! I have to laugh. I told one of the help that I had a complaint.She said, "Okay, and braced herself for bad news. I told her that it was hard to go to McDonald's when I smelled Vinnies come into the parking lot. Now they are only good for drinks.I think she was taken back and laughed! What a relief was on her face. That caused me to laugh.“

“Great beer selection. Some high quality bottles of liquor(mids too) but I was there for the beer. Pizza looked good so I got one to go. It did not disappoint. The medium was plenty for dinner and a few pieces for the next day and I'm a big eater. Nice chewy, crispy crust. Quality ingredients“

“We came here a while back after a long day of driving. We were tired, a bit disheveled and had our grumpy 2 year old in the stroller. We looked like a mess and so were a bit concerned when we walked in and saw the lovely and quite classy interior with a live harpist playing on a little stage.Our concern quickly vanished as the excellent and laid back service made us feel relaxed and welcome. The food and drinks were equally good and we felt immensely recharged after our meal.The biggest thing I remember about this place was the atmosphere, which had a lovely, laid-back class to it. It felt like it was equally at home hosting our travelling family as it was a 20th wedding anniversary or a dinner with an old friend. I hope we get to come back soon.P.S. it has an excellent changing table in the bathroom. Our son was potty trained by then but finding a fun, classy place that also doesn't require you to try to change a baby on the counter or floor? True perfection“

“Haven't checked this place out since I don't often come to this plaza but decided to tonight, and we will be back! They were happy to check ingredients for me and they had lots of awesome nicnacs/wooden gaming items. Very cool place! “Out of this world, pancakes and waffles, as well as muffins and a limited assortment of other items. Gluten-free muffins are available for takeout, and my wife said that they are fantastic. Limited seating and at times there can be a short wait for a table. Friendly waitress and good service.“

“This is the absolute best restaurant in the area. I am not a fan of Oregon restaurants. I'm from the Bay Area (the real bay) and food here is nearly unpalatable in comparison. I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the staff in this place.“

She hadn't really had much Indian food but I regularly crave it but there's nothing in Florence where we live, and not even in Newport, surprisingly. We read the reviews here on Yelp and I knew we had to go! We were not disappointed! We ordered the Pakora appetizer, which is the best I've ever had. Yummy and crunchy without being greasy. Yummy tamarind and mint sauces perfectly complimented them. We also ordered the garlic cheese naan. OMFG! Soft, hot, buttery, garlicky and stuffed with cheese! You could make a meal out of it! I ordered the butter chicken and it was delightfully flavorful with amazing sauce and tender chunks of chicken. Incredible. Our waiter was awesome, not pushy, ready to answer our questions, and was very personable. He actually followed the chef/owner when he was in Petaluma CA. Coos Bay is blessed to have this restaurant in their grasp! As Guy Fiery would sometimes say regarding special restaurants, the Himalayan is a DESTINATION restaurant. Worth traveling hours for to experience! Don't miss it!!“

We ordered the lunch item of tacos and enchiladas.The salsa and chips were brought out immediately to the table, the salsa was excellent, just the right amount of spice.The meal was excellent. A littledesert was brought out at the end, and it was a surprise, and very good. The food is great. This restaurant is the best I have been to in this area and look forward to the next visit.“

“The food was very good, although it took a while to come out it was worth the wait. My husband loves their yellow chicken curry. I got pork larb with a side of rice. It was almost as good as my mom's. Forgot to take pictures. We were hungry, lol.“

They have a ramp, but the door threshold is almost impossible to get over..almost dumped my 93yo friend trying to get out... other than that, the vibe is casual and eclectic, great staff and great food! “The kitchen "lost our ticket" so it took over an hour to get our food... But.... Worth the wait! I guess you have to ask for a table specifically by the window to the river... Telling them it's your wedding anniversary and would like the best view doesn't imply it...?“
