The Hive Social Reviews
First time visit and was NOT disappointed! The spicy Bloody Mary was, hands down, the BEST I’ve ever had. I also had the Boring Benny breakfast. It was beyond delicious. In fact, days later I’m still craving it. I will have to plan a trip back to Oregon just to come back here. (No, I am not related or connected to anyone at the business and I rarely leave reviews.)
My wife and I came in for a brunch after a medical procedure for me. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken very shortly afterwards. My wife had the French omelette, and I had the vanilla cream French toast. The coffee was ridiculously good, the Orange juice tasted freshly squeezed, and the food was spectacular! The Hive Social offers a unique coffee experience, serving large iced mochas with four shots at no extra cost. The flavor is described as delicious and complex. The restaurant also serves sweet and savory dishes for brunch, with a focus on locally sourced and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a popular spot for meetings and social gatherings. Customers praise the seriously good avocado toast. The French toast is enormous and ideal for sharing. The food is a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and service is well paced. Expect a mild din of chatter at busy times. The Hive Social has a downstairs speakeasy which you should also check out. The bartender makes a signature drink called "Falling Leaves". All the food is good and the Bloody Mary is spicy and well seasoned. I recommend the grits! It is a delightful experience.
