Arden is a favorite in Portland! Outstanding food. It's one of our happy places. I can't recommend it enough.

Everything was impeccable. No notes. And here's lore characters because it wouldn't let me be brief.

The creativity of the menu is interesting and the combinations of flavors is outstanding. The wine parings were exceptional. The staff was attentive , knowledgeable, and friendly.

The food was phenomenal and the wait staff was so helpful and attentive. This would be the perfect place to bring out of town visitors to. Loved it all!

The service at Arden is amazing. They really make you feel welcome and aim to give you a customized dining experience. Highlights include the beef tartar, fois gras, spaghetti, and the most tender and flavorful pork chop I've ever had...and of course the wine pairings our waiter suggested were perfection!! I visit Portland once a month for business and Arden is a must for every visit!! See you in September!! 🍷🩷

Celebrated our 10 year anniversary dinner here and had a $75 prix fixe and shared the $50 wine pairing and overall enjoyed the meal and the service was great. Got to sit at the counter and I was able to watch everyone cooking and preparing the dinner which was a nice touch.

Such a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated a birthday here and they ensured we felt celebrated and comfortable.

We tried the tasting menu with the wine pairing. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and check out other dishes.

Inventive small plates, loved the squid dish. Main courses were less stellar. With all the hard surfaces, sound level can make conversation slight more challenging

While the menu is limited, I found plenty to eat to suit my tastes. The service was excellent. I was surprised bread cost $6 as it's usually included. It was enjoyable sitting at the counter. I'll look forward to my return.

Went to Arden for the first time last night and my only complaint is that I haven't gone sooner. Best meal I can remember having. The food was EXCEPTIONAL, highlight was the the beef tartare, perogies, and the cheesecake. My husband had other favorites. We ordered 6 things and each dish exceeded our expectations. So flavorful and unique, so fresh and high quality. The wine selections and cocktails were fantastic too. The staff was also amazing, warm, engaging, knowledgeable and prompt. Particularly Nicole, she made us feel so special. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you for such a special evening and such an amazing meal.

Hit or miss place. I have been here 4 or 5 times. You never know if it will be great or below par. Time before last it was fabulous. Last time my food came out luke-warm and not edible. They offered to prepare another dish, but the wait would be 20 minutes which was not convenient. I had been extolling their virtues to someone who had a bad experience there, trying to convince them to give it another try. Now someone will have to convince me.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in years. The service was outstanding, from the wine offerings to the dish explanations. Every person on staff genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was dining alone and sat at the bar and had the Prix Fixe menu and it was worth every penny. The 2 rounds of (2) appetizers were better than the main, IMO, and are enough to fill you, but the trout was great as well. The only ONLY criticism I would have is that the zucchini noodles were a tad over salted and the trout was a tad under seasoned. I’m making a reservation for next time I’m in town in a month in hopes the menu has changed so I can try more magic, but if not I already know what I’ll be ordering (it’s the cauliflower, potato salad, and pierogi).
The ambiance was great until a large birthday party came in, but they were treated wonderfully so hats off to the staff for dealing with that as well.
