Not sure why people are complaining about the ordering process. We've never had any issues with the website. The food is fresh and reliably great. My one dream request would be to start offering the shredded rotisserie chicken (offered now on top of the salad) as a stand alone side. We would constantly grab that as an easy addition to meals at home.

Portland is so lucky to have Arrosto and Providore. ❤️

Everything is done so well here. Like a northern Italian version of Nong’s, you get chicken and some other stuff, and a very memorable sauce.

It’s pricey compared to grocery store rotisserie, but totally worth it once in a while especially if you get the meal.

The only thing is the potatoes used to be crispy and smashed but now they are just roasted and kinda plain. Bring back the smashing.

Why does the chicken taste like pork? Maybe it’s the herbs used but it doesn’t taste good and the meat was dry…

Also a long-term fan, we’ve been disappointed since the relaunch, gave it one more try tonight and it sucked in every way. Ordered for 5, got a message it was ready 20 minutes early. Run out, bring it home, chicken is cold, flavorless and we’ve found a couple hairs baked into the barely browned skin. Salad sauce is pure anchovy flavor, salad itself had many slimy brown pieces. Food is just clearly being made by people who do not care. It sucks, go somewhere else.

Like others have said this used to be our absolute favorite chicken spot in town. Disappointed with our whole bird order. Chicken was dry and tasteless (was it cooked in a bag?). Potatoes not crispy. Salads are now prepackaged with lettuce not super fresh. Sauces are still great.

What happened to Arrosto?!?!Arrosto has been our favorite chicken place for years since moving to Portland. We used to eat there about once every week or two.Since reopening a few months ago we've tried twice and the food is now garbage. The chicken flavor is just not good...tonight tasting more like chicken bologna than a delicious roast chicken. Also the cuts are all wrong compared to before...wings and legs still attached to breast and thigh. The potatoes are undercooked, crunchy and not smashed or crispy anymore....honestly taste undercooked and microwaved. Are they even cooked with the chicken anymore???The salad tonight didn't have croutons and the cheese is now shredded and premixed.I'm right now not eating the full bird dinner we bought because the flavor and texture of everything but the focaccia is just bad.The new ordering method is fine-ish once you know how it works, but no method to talk with anyone and definitely very impersonal.Unfortunately, I won't be ordering here again which is really really sad as this has been our favorite chicken place in Portland.

Do not like the order and pickup process. I had ordered online. A walk up tried to order at the kiosk. He got frustrated and just left.It is way to impersonal. I much prefer a human being that can answer questions and help. It will be a long time until I return. Also bread was not cut. Potatoes were not smashed like they used to be.

A few months ago I gave I gave this place a 5-Star review, but now with all their changes, I had to lower the review. You're unable to call and speak to anyone. You can't order for a specific pick-up time. And there are limited options for add-ons. Less service! And chicken was a little over-cooked and dry.

First time ordering since they reopened. I love Arrosto, but i am a bit disappointed with the changes. 1) the focaccia used to come pre sliced, now its one slab that we had to cut and did so conservatively which amounted to 3 tiny slices (enough for 2? No) 2) We received one pitiful serving of Arrosto sauce which is the crown jewel in this meal. This amounted to about 1T per person that we fought over. We used to be able to order extra, but now the only option is to buy an entire bottle which is an extra $8. We aren't all in the market to buy an entire bottle of sauce with short life span. Can you plz bring back being able to order extra? 3) There were enough potatoes to feed 5 people which was confusing. We would have preferred less potatoes, to getting sauce for 2 and focaccia for 2. Hopefully these things can be adjusted down the road.

Got the whole bird dinner in need of any easy weeknight meal. Best $36 I ever spent. Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly.

Please come back we miss you! Best chicken cesar in portland!

An absolutely boring salad that was 90% Quinoa with a bland hard boiled egg, a couple pieces of veggies and a few shards of boiled chicken. $14 and 20 minutes to get it…Lousy lunch.
