Favorite Portland eatery! Having recently traveled to Bari, where Walter is from, I can honestly say he makes better Panzerroti than you’ll find in Italy. Perfectly fried, crispy on the outside side, chewy inside. The filling is great but it’s the perfectly cooked dough that’s the star. Best eaten hot and fresh as soon as hands them to you. Mangia Mangia!
Delicious, authentic, Italian comfort food. I've been visiting for years and have never been disappointed. A must stop whenever I'm in Portland. Walter is passionate about his food and super friendly.
Had the barese and was very pleasantly surprised. Not at all greasy- I was a skeptical when Walter told me about his food cart and read the raving reviews. Will definitely return.
