Try Cortado, little stronger but deep flavor.
Very nice cafe with lots of seating for remote working. Service was top notch and the blend was perfect! But I am speechless on the banana bread! Just wow! Melts in your mouth… it’s a must try!
After walking around shopping in this area, it was time for a pick me up before dinner later in the night. There were a few different coffee shops to choose from within blocks of each other. Please, do NOT go anywhere else, stop at Barista!
You walk in to a lot of people just taking it easy, working on laptops, having quiet conversations amongts themselves, and other sitting outside enjoying their coffee and the atmosphere.

Barista is a great spot for coffee lovers, known for its wonderful espresso and friendly staff. The building features a cool redbrick design with a great patio for people watching in The Pearl, making it perfect for a sunny Portland day. The atmosphere feels so Portland with non conventional seating, offering a relaxing space with an industrial vibe, ideal for working or unwinding, complete with free wi-fi. Although the drinks menu is somewhat limited, they serve exceptional OG portland coffee, including options with Oatly oat milk. The Valrhona Mocha is highlighted as the best mocha ever, and pairing it with a pastry creates a fantastic coffee combo. They sell out of pastries by afternoon. While the cafe may not be the best choice for families with kids due to the lack of kid-friendly drink options, it remains an excellent place to spend a few hours. Visitors appreciate the authentic experience, with some noting that the coffee is great. The staff is super nice, contributing to a clean and cozy environment. Overall, Barista is highly recommended for all coffee lovers and is probably the best option in this vicinity of the Pearl.
