This is all very simple, very humble stuff done take out style and so.etimes with a side of chaos. The dim sum is great, maybe not fantastic. The Chinese deli meats are fantastic. The service is direct and sometimes all over the place when it is busy (which can be often). The atmosphere is. Either here nor there. Still, I find .myself here fairly often and have never been disappointed
The food was fantastic! I placed my order for a 55 lbs. roast pig, 5 roasted ducks and 3 ginger chicken. We fed about 50 people. All were so tasty. Did I mentioned I drove from Springfield to Portland just so I could have these? It was worth the drive.
I'm giving this place 5 stars because they have traditional zhongzi (sticky rice with meat, egg and peanuts wrapped in a bamboo leaf) and it's the only place in Portland ive found that makes it.The duck is good too, although the rice could use more dippings but this place is like a blast from the past : nostalgic Chinese home cooked food with no fancy frills.
