It's a hole-in-the-wall Cantonese BBQ spot. There are roast ducks and a whole pig prominently on display, a box full of bags of raw chicken feet right next to it, a whiteboard with prices, a couple cheap tables off to the side, complementary loose leaf tea if you eat in, and maybe 3-5 employees hanging around, one of whom speaks a little bit of english. You know what to expect if you have been to places like that. This one sports unusually tall ceilings and a few dim sum...
This is all very simple, very humble stuff done take out style and so.etimes with a side of chaos. The dim sum is great, maybe not fantastic. The Chinese deli meats are fantastic. The service is direct and sometimes all over the place when it is busy (which can be often). The atmosphere is. Either here nor there. Still, I find .myself here fairly often and have never been disappointed
The food was fantastic! I placed my order for a 55 lbs. roast pig, 5 roasted ducks and 3 ginger chicken. We fed about 50 people. All were so tasty. Did I mentioned I drove from Springfield to Portland just so I could have these? It was worth the drive.
