This is a very fun place! Just know that it is also a local haunt and people come from all over so it gets packed fast. We played Drag Queen bingo! I ordered a coffee drink that was luke warm, so I went to the bar and suggested we put it on ice. Quirky bar with lots of cocktail options! Only bar I've seen in a while with PBR on draft! Good onion rings! Popped in for a friend's art show! Great neighborhood dive vibe. Think this is the place for soccer for the neighborhood!

I once read a fine book about "bar bars." I don't remember all the criteria, but I think Beulahland comes close without quite attaining bar-bar status. It's definitely a bar, though -- something getting strangely rare in Portland, where many of the old bars either turn upscale or close.
