Exotic chocolate shots. You will find college grads doing HW over here, or a retired prof solving sudoku over his chocolate mocha. Nice ambiance to enjoy with friends and family. If you want owner will give you a history tour. A small cozy but happening place.
What a great place to sit by the window, looking at the busy city and drinking "drinking chocolate "! I ordered their classic Medium size cup cacao drinking chocolate and enjoyed it so much. It was dense and not super sweet. My partner enjoyed the Oatly dark hot chocolate (with oat milk). Will come back for sure.

I live in Los Angeles and visit Portland several times a year; Cacao is always my first stop. I mostly get the 8oz bags of chocolate chips shown in the picture, but we always try something new from their amazing selection of high-quality chocolate bars as well. Do not leave the store without trying the Valrhona Dulcey 32% caramelized blond chocolate chips, they're so good!
