The staff needs to be better trained on the priority pass terms and conditions. They didn't seem to understand that the holder of the card gets $28 as well as a guest of the holder of the card.

Great service and a solid local selection of local beers. Nice of the guy to stay open as long as he could before the storm. Nothing else was open!

I was incredibly disappointed with what staff is left here. The bakery was closed and the woman tending the bar with blue hair was the rudest person I’ve ever met. The woman tending the register also was snappy but not nearly as rude as the bartender. This place has sadly gone down hill over the years that I’ve been coming.

Priority passGrab and go with 28 bucks per person was enough for a decent but overpriced sandwich, a drink, chips, beef jerky and a cookie, so I can't

Came here through my Priority Pass, which allowed a $28 credit per person to purchase any of the food items minus the gifts, nonalcoholic drinks to go and alcoholic drinks to consume on premise. They have seats at the bar as well as tables in the side. I got to the airport kind of early, so decided to go through here. They were still putting up some of the fresh food items. I opted for a salmon cream cheese sushi roll, and a Caesar salad. The salmon cream cheese roll was pretty decent for airport quality. The fish wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. The Caesar salad dressing tasted sour but unsure if it was spoiled or the flavor was like that. We tossed just in case :/ Overall great deal for what we got!

Swung by Capers at PDX before my flight to grab a quick bite. It's set up like a market so you can choose from a selection of snacks, prepped foods, drinks, pastries, etc, or sit at the bar to enjoy drinks. Opted for to go and picked up a dragon roll (eat airport sushi at your own risk lol). Checking out was quick and friendly. You can pay at the bar, or there are usually 1-2 other areas to pay, but those counters were closed during my visit. Honestly, considering it was airport sushi, it wasn't that bad. Flavor was good and the fish didn't taste or smell suspicious in any way. Grabbed a chocolate milk too which was tasty.

This is our go-to spot at PDX when we have a flight in this terminal as they accept Priority Pass (we have one through Chase Sapphire Reserve). Currently, it's $28 per person and an additional $28 if you have a guest. There are a lot of exceptions to this, but if you're looking for a quick bite to eat before you get on your flight, Capers Market is it. Just recently, I got a salmon salad with a hefty cost of $19.99, coconut water, and another bottled water to reach my $28 limit. You can also use your credit to order drinks from the adjacent bar which I have done in the past. My husband likes to order from the baked goods side (croissant sandwiches, quiche, sandwiches, etc.). They're able to heat up the food for you too. All in all, this spot is quite pricey, but it's in an airport, so no surprise there. I do think it's only worth it if you can use your Priority Pass.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and used Chase's Priority Pass for $56 credit. We sat at the bar where there are outlets underneath (the red tables don't have outlets). We didn't get any bar drinks, but the bartender was still nice and cleared our areas as we sat there. To use your Priority Pass, you go to the cashier by the cases and he scans your card. Then you grab a red shopping basket and choose what you want. Some listed prices already include tax and some don't so you should be conservative. You can pick from both sides of the main case behind the cashier and from the bakery. Then you take your items to the cashier and he rings them up. Tipping is only by cash or by card if you go over your credit. The cashier and bakery staff were super nice and helpful. I ended up getting: Bakery: veggie frittata and bacon and cheese croissant - warmed up and two hot teas (Stash English Breakfast and Stash Peppermint) and banana Display case: chicken salad, cheese sandwich, jerky sausage sticks, two bottles of water, cocoa truffle bar, electrolyte gummies, bag of chips The main display case was mostly empty actually so maybe you can get a better selection if your flight is earlier in the day. It was enough food for us, and everything tasted fine. Beware though - the cheese sandwich had moldy bread even though it was within the sell-by date. I noticed after I took one bite so I went back, and the cashier let me get another one. The second one was fine. Check your items thoroughly!

Good little cafe, for a quick bite before a flight. We only got drinks but the people around us got food and it looked great. They talked about how tasty it was and it came fast.

The food is consistent every time, but the way they ring up Priority Pass transactions is very aggressive. Tonight, the cashier first refused to pack frittatas from the bakery case because he didn't have the staff. After I asked if the bartender could do it, he admitted that he didn't have a line so he could do it. This is literally walking 10 feet to put a pastry in a to-go box. Then, on check out, after my credit card processed, he said, "you can show your appreciation on that tip line right there." The cashier pushed a high pressure tactic on me to get a tip. For putting food in a box. It was distasteful and off putting.

This place is listed as a "priority pass" location, and they do have some sort of partnership with them, but apparently my priority pass membership card isn't accepted. I was able to go here in the past. It's very confusing, and I wish they would either accept Priority Pass or not.

Capers Market. It's behind Security, on the Ticketing Level, between C and D Gates. It has simple, hot, grab and go food, yummy cold sandwiches and salads, a surprisingly large variety of bottled wine, and a good selection of cold drinks. There is also a full bar. When we travel by air, it is one of our favorite stops on the way to our gate, especially when it is on an early morning flight, and we have hours until boarding. A hot Ham and Cheese Croissant and a cold Diet Coke really hits the spot. Oh, and they accept Priority Pass, which is a huge benefit attached to some credit cards. I have always found the Staff courteous, patient and friendly, even when faced with long lines of travel-weary customers. I don't know how I would do, (certainly not as well), were I in their shoes, because, hey, it's a busy busy airport, with literally tens of thousands passengers walking past every day, each intent on their own journey, which ... electrifies the environment. So, for where they are, the difficulty of the work, and the Staff's grace under fire, Five Stars.
