I paid $50 for 5 pieces of the shrimp, a very thin crab leg cluster they put a bunch of potatoes in the bag at least 10 and one overcooked lobster that was very tough to eat. Would not recommend. Tried to call the restaurant manager and was very rude. When I asked for a refund I could’ve went to another restaurant and got double what they gave me for that price. If I could give negative stars, I would definitely -10 restaurant.
Not a clean place , food is not good , and my whole table of (8) got food poisoning. Instead of an apology I was told I went somewhere else and got food poisoning. They also don’t do refunds would not recommend eating here unless your goal is to lose weight from not being able to eat for days my poor son is still unable to keep food down and he is 4 so you could understand the disrespect I felt when I didn’t even receive an apology or a resolution. 0/10 do NOT RECOMMEND

Captain’s Choice Cajun Seafood is a very large restaurant with a diner vibe, great for groups of 8+. The Combo #2 with shrimp and crawfish is phenomenal, especially with the medium Cajun sauce. The crab and shellfish are very tasty, with fantastic calamari appetizer. The lobster tail special—a bowl of lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp, corn, and potatoes—comes in a rich, fingerlicking broth. The fish and chips are delicious, and the pound of shrimp with garlic butter is the best ever. The Cajun spice is superior to the butter sauce, though mild is already quite spicy. The drinks menu has beer, soju, and soft and hot drinks. A great place for a birthday celebration, though it can be a bit expensive. The sauce is the best by far of any crab boil place, far more complex than others in Portland. Servers are courteous, but waits can sometimes be long.
