We are visiting from out of town and happened to stop by for dessert. The owner is super dedicated to his craft and so nice. He even had us try a homemade ice cream he is working on (which was outstanding). We are so glad we stopped here and hope this business does well and is here next time we come to Portland!
If you're looking for true authentic Hawaiian shave ice, this is THE place! My wife and I got to meet and chat with Easton and he was such an awesome and kind person! Absolutely amazing shave ice and customer service! We left saying "That was such a great experience, we just want to see him thrive!" All the best Easton, you've got something truly special there, and you've got customers for life my friend.

Da Shave Ice Shack has a great reputation, and their shave ice is really delicious from what I've been told. Unfortunately, at this time they are not open at the location stated in their Yelp profile. Please be aware of this if you are planning a visit. A recording on their voicemail states they are currently only serving shave ice at privately booked events. I was really looking forward to trying their shave ice, hopefully I'll be able to check them out sometime this summer.
