Totally lucked out on this one with a friend as we were walking over to a different bar "Hey! This place looks cute, let's check this out instead!" OK. Cute is an understatement. It's positively gorgeous inside. The people are super nice, the wine's fantastic, and the yellowtail toast is seriously one of the tastiest things I've eaten this year. We lucked out and happened to be walking by right when there were some free seats at the bar, but if you have to wait? It's seriously worth it!

Went on a Friday night and was able to get a table for two despite the bar not taking reservations. The interior is beautiful! Dimly lit and moody. We each had a couple glasses of wine as well as the tinned fish, yellowtail toast, and lamb pastrami. Everything was amazing but especially the yellowtail!! Seriously MUST ORDER; I had no idea I could love a variation of toast so much. The service was great and we loved everything we had. Definitely going back!

Came for a glass of wine and a snack, stayed for dinner - which was tremendously tasty. This wine bar specializes in white burgundy wines yet also has a lovely selection of bottles. Shout out to Mark for making our night. We will have to come back to try their famous yellowtail toast.

Stellar! Just stellar! From the ambiance, to the food and the wine selection - just outstanding. We loved every part of the experience and the food is such a delightful escape from the same options you get everywhere else in the city. Artful and flavors are on point and unexpected. Fantastic hidden gem. The food was remarkable. The service was on point with the wine recommendations very precise which complimented what I was eating. Phenomenal environment that I must return! Try the Tea Sandwhich and Almond Cake. Katrina and Matt were great!

I asked for a dry, mineral white and it was not dry and fell flat to me. I would have expected for specializing in old world French wines, there would have been something in this category. Food is very salty and mostly finger foods. It's fancy, but the flavors combos in a dish are sometimes hit and miss.
Update: you can reserve the side room for private parties! I just had my birthday there and it was lovely. Joel was fantastic helping us choose wine, chatting with my friends and serving fantastic food. The menu changes all the time, but they seem to always have whipped camembert and potato chips. Our favorites were the samosa and the tuna toast. I gave a good review in March and happy to confirm it's still amazing in August.

I've never had to wait under these parameters, and I've been coming around once every 3 weeks for a few months now. Once you've got your seat, post up and stay a while. The mood is very romantic and relaxed.Go with bottles over glass pours and get something really stunning with the $ you save. Heavenly maintains a lovely selection and the servers are very knowledgeable.
