“Wow I’m amazed at how thoughtful and flavorful this destination restaurant is. Opening scene: It’s a cool rainy Portland day and I just want something delicious to eat. I’ve driven by this place so many times and today I went in because I overpaid in my parking. “What the heck! I’m hungry.”
I was warmly greeted and given some orientation by the hostess. “… it’s like Mongolian grill but it’s hotpot.” I made my selections unsure of some of the ingredients. [I recommend every vegetable including the curly mushrooms and cheeses and taro fills rice cakes.] I was given the biggest bowl of brotha soup with everything I selected delicately cooked and steaming hot in my bowl.

This broth was outstanding! I didn’t need to add a thing. A few bottles of Soju later and I am so ready to rest tucked in my bed on this rainy summer day. I’m definitely bringing my kids and don’t forget about the mouthwash afterwards! See for yourself.“

“Parking area is crowded.
The place itself is pretty dated.
Overall the food was good and it was a cool experience. It took awhile to get some of the food, and it came out at random times.
Went for a weeknight dinner. There were a few tables full but overall it wasn’t busy.
Our lot wasn’t heating evenly so we had to keep moving stuff to one small area where it was cooking.“

“This was Fred and my first time trying a crab boil! We didn’t really know what to expect but it was amazing. Everything was so fresh perfectly seasoned, and the portions were perfect you were completely full by the time you were done. Highly recommend Fred and I will be back Fs!“

“Our family decided to do something different for Thanksgiving so we tried Seventeen Hot Pot. It did not disappoint! All the meat was fresh and delicious. The make-your-own sauce bar was fun and inventive. The four soup broths we tried were hearty and wonderful (tomato, mushroom, herbal and mild spicy). My boys and I all enjoyed every bit of this meal! We will be back to enjoy the hot pot experience again very soon! Thank you!“

“This place is awesome great food and plenty of it. The spicy broth is delicious and they offer a split pot for trying a variety of broths the mushroom broth was also really good. Gets kinda crazy in large party’s I wouldn’t go with more than like 6 people just gets to crowded. For the price you definitely can’t beat this place highly recommend.“
