“Went here with some friends a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVED it, everything is at the buffet except the main meats so the vegan in our party had a great time. Also, little to not risk of food waste as you can get only as much as you want. Flushing is very cool and it was a great time“

“Freshly-prepared dishes, large menu with plenty of variety, great portion sizes. On the pricier side for fresh/fast Korean at about $17-20.per dish. We ordered 4 things to share, a side of rice, and two Cokes which came to $85 and change, including tip.
I really enjoyed the Korean-style deep fried whole chicken, which was smaller than the average hen you get at the market. This was closer to the size of a very large Cornish game hen, and perfectly cooked with the lightest, crispiest crunch on the exterior. It didn't come with rice, so I ordered a side. It does come with a nice pickled radish, a dressed, shredded cabbage slaw, and two enhancements: fine salt/pepper blend, and a sweet, spicy chile sauce. I'll definitely be back for this chicken again. Delicious. 5/5
My friend ordered the pork katsu with cheese over steamed rice, which came with slaw and mac salad. I thought this just ok. The batter was a little thick and, although everything was served hot, biting into the pork was a bit tough as it was on the chewy side. It might have been re-fried after being prepared earlier. This is usually fine, if done properly. The cheese was generous and good. A little salt and a spot of Katsu sauce was the perfect complement. 3/5
We also shared the Rose Toekkbokki, which comes with soft, chewy rice cakes, fish cake strips, thinly-sliced hot dog, tofu squares, green onion, and a weird addition a small amount of iceburg lettuce-I removed it because it was wilted and added nothing. Oh, and a hard-boiled egg (it was chalky, unfortunately.) The sauce was creamy and mild, with the tiniest hint of heat from the gochujong. It was good, but I've had better versions of this dish, including my own. Worth a try if you've never had toekkbokki before. 3/5
Finally, I ordered the japchae with thinly sliced beef and cabbage to go. Although there wasn't much protein, the noodles were flavorful and prepared well. I love japchae, so I'll enjoy this with an egg and some smokey beef rib at home later. 4/5
The atmosphere was cozy on a rainy day in the PNW. It felt like a home kitchen. Service was fair. Our server greeted us immediately, and we were seated with water right away. She gave us plenty of time to decide, and then quickly took our orders. There was only one server(also the hostess) who appeared to be a little overwhelmed, but that's to be expected pretty much anywhere these days. It felt like a mom and pop restaurant with their daughter doing the greet, seat, and table service, including bussing. Despite the hefty price tag for lunch, I made sure to tip well.
I'd like to visit again and try some other dishes, but price is a factor. That said, this might be a better place for a group of 4 or 6 people. That way, everyone can pitch in and try different dishes, which makes it fun and more affordable.“

“First off, shout out to our new boy JASON. Never met you in my life but from now on whenever I think of dumplings, I'll think of you. Always here at the perfect time and bringing exactly what I forgot to even ask for. Truly a hero and a scholar. My gf had to make room 2 times to finish all the food we got. Soooooo clearly its good.“

“First time trying hot pot! The people working here are SO NICE and the food is great!! I love Szechuan food, but have always been intimidated by hot pot because I didn’t know how it worked logistically. The staff and even some other customers were really helpful in explaining and helping me pick things out + checking that I liked the food. I got dry pot with a side of steamed rice. Now I’m obsessed!! Thank you ❤“
