“Are you sick of the same ol’ same ol’ pizza? Do you love Indian food? Well then this might just be your place. While they do offer the classics for those not looking for something new, for everyone else there is an amazing collection of Indian fusion pizzas. Of course they have a chicken tikka pizza, but that’s just the beginning. Just check out the menu and tell me you’re not compelled to give this place a try. We ordered the tandoori paneer pizza and the vegan Punjabi garlic breadsticks. And the verdict… Holy crap! Drop what you’re doing and get over here. Best breadsticks I’ve had in a very long time, if ever. Very bold flavors, chewy, delicious. And the pizza, while the flavors were more subtle, they were deliciously complex. I’m excited to return to explore the menu further. Do yourself a favor and get over here now.“

“What a delicious and filling meal! I had all my favs: veg samosas, mango lassi, naan, kofta. My husband had the bombay wings. He was sorry we hadnt ordered more naan to soak up the tasty sauce. But we were also very full. Plus, the naan was excellent. The naan was the best part of a very good meal. It is definitely a hole in the wall location, which is fine by me. I dont want fancy: i want TASTY, and that is what we got. Looking forward to going back.“

“I kid you not, the food is delicious. The best I’ve ever had! I’m recommending it to everyone I know. My first impression was how clean it is. Second was the efficient and friendly service. Then the food came. I ended up ordering more food to bring some home to my guy, and he loved it too!“

“The best North Indian we have had in USA. Food was cooked to suit my high spice level tolerance and 0 spice level for my kids. We had the yummiest dal and butter chicken with garlic naan. Food was excellent but service was even better. My 4 year old wanted plain roti which was not even on the menu. But the owner is such a kind soul that he specially got flour kneaded for him and didn't even let us pay for it.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Has great dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options. You have to try their Tikka Masala. Great staff, great food, great drinks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Remember folks, all the negative and over the top ago reviews within a few days of each other are hate brigades. They are bots and accounts that aren’t in Portland and have never experienced Desi Pdx. since no service was provided it should not be considered valid.“

“Zaiqa restaurant has become our go-to spot and for good reason. The butter chicken and garlic naan were some of the best we’ve ever tasted— rich, aromatic. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food with outstanding hospitality, this place is an absolute must-visit.“

“Wow, amazing food. We were visiting portland from east coast and tried saag chicken + shrimp biryani from this place. The taste was top notch and spice level was really good as well according to our requirement. We wanted high spice that can satisfy desi tastebuds.“

“Oh my gosh!! Delicious and plentiful all for reasonable prices
We got the deluxe Thali, Butter chicken and the bread basket!
The Deluxe Thali gives you a good sampling of their curries. If you don’t know what specifically you might want or just want to try a little of everything. This is a perfect choice and it comes with a little dessert.
The Butter Chicken, flavorful. I got a spice level five and it’s a perfect balance of flavor and spice. This felt like a chefs kiss. The chicken was beautifully red and a tender consistency.
The bread basket for only 15 dollars was three baskets of freshly made naan.“

“They have a very rich selection of both North Indian and South Indian food. The former tend to have a nutty, creamy, less spicy flavor.
A lot of the food can be made non spicy. The vegetarian options I tried were all very delicious.
Along with the usual biryani, paneer, aloo and others, they also offer dishes that are not common but very tasty. Some of these would be korma, kofta, something made with daal, and something made with mushroom.
I finish with clean plates. I was much reminded of the Indian food I got in London.
My friend once asked if they could make a spicy lassi that was off the menu. They delivered it. My friend said it was authentic and well made, although I could see why the restaurant didn’t put that on the menu.“

“Amazing flavors for the egg plant Masala and Lamb saag that I ordered. Medium heat was still pretty spicy. Better value than at a restaurant. Hummus could use more garlic, but overall- absolutely delicious. Last Saturday of the month features an open mic in this tiny park.“

“We enjoyed our NYE dinner at this restaurant - the waitstaff was very hospitable and did an excellent job in service, making sure we felt very appreciated and taken care of. My friend's birthday was celebrated with a song and lighting of a birthday cake, although we were led to believe the dessert was complimentary but was not ($7 was tacked onto our bill at the end). Food was delicious!“

“I sample some chicken marsala two weeks ago a friend had. I placed a to go order while I was on my lunch. I sampled everything once I got back to work. IT WAS SOOOOO DELICIOUS AND EXTREMELY WELL SEASONED. The food was sooo good when I got home from work; I heated up more of it. DANG IT!!! Was just as good as the first bite. I was up at 2:22 am finishing off the rest. Justin was amazing and has the best food selection advice. Please visit. I swear you won't be disappointed. Signed Tenise“

“Wonderful food cart in Scappoose with many Indian-style curry options. Everything made fresh including the naan bread. (They also offer different spicy levels.) You get a lot of food for the price! Its great to have a local option in town and I come by at least once a week for it, ever since they opened last year. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too with a full bar available at the Lodge.“

“Best Samosa chaat I've ever had after moving to the USA. Right amount of spice for an Indian, definitely hits the spot and close your eyes while eating it and feel the flavors and don't forget to smell the food before digging in! You'll love it!“

“I was waiting for boba and one of the people working at Bombay Wala of India waved me over as I was staring at the menu. They quickly started handing me spoon samples even asking if I had any allergies just to make sure.
Both people working were so incredibly friendly. I ended up getting the Butter Chicken and Peanut butter Chicken as well as the saffron rice and Garlic Naan. Everything is so good and the portions were great! They even wrapped my container in plastic wrap and put it in a bag since I was taking it to go so that I would have a mess free meal! The extra care was appreciated! I dont frequent this mall often but if I want some Indian food this place will definitely be up on the list!“

“We went to Bollywood Theater and had a great experience! We ordered the Pav Bhaji, Thali, and Paneer Kathi Roll, and really enjoyed majority of the items. The Kathi Roll was the standout—flavorful and filling—while the Pav Bhaji was tasty and comforting. The Thali offered a nice variety, though it felt more like a sampler than a traditional thali.
The ambience was vibrant with fun Bollywood vibes, and the presentation was nice. Prices were a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes, but overall the food was satisfying and worth trying.“

“I enjoyed the lamb Kathi roll, the spices were on point and the naan bread soft and delicious. However, I was pretty shocked that it came only in tin foil. I would’ve expected it to be wrapped in paper and then tinfoil to make it easier to eat, and also prevent accidentally eating a piece of tinfoil, which is incredibly toxic.“

“I stopped here to have some dumplings for lunch and I'm so glad I did. The dumplings were amazing. I also got two different sauces on the side, one mild and one hot, and both were great with the dumplings. I'm so glad I discovered one of the best dumpling spots in the area.“

“We came in to the restaurant and did not see anyone. It took several minutes for a grumpy old person to come out who didn't speak to us. So we stayed off a little shakey. HOWEVER, we had an extremely good waitress help us who was also very busy. You could tell she cared about her service. Major props to her! Lastly, 2 of the 3 of us agreed this was the best chicken Tikka Massala we have ever had in our lives. And we are old! Highly highly highly recommend coming to this restaurant.“

“First time trying and will order again. I got for takeout: Butter Chicken it comes with rice. Its very flavorful, savory buttery sweet but not overly sweet. I requested medium spice. I also ordered garlic naan which was deliciously garlicky and had herbs. I also got the tamarind chutney which I highly recommend, spicy tart and sweet. The green chutney was good too but if I had to choose I would get the tamarind chutney.“

“Shocked to see so many negative reviews, honestly. My SO got lamb vindaloo and a mango lassi from this cart and thought it was an absolute banger of a meal. It looked great to me—really thick, rich sauce and lots of nice, juicy looking chunks of lamb with a healthy portion of fluffy rice. Great price and portion because he had some to take home for later, as he could not finish the whole thing! I watched him get his order taken and the guy at the counter seemed lovely.“

“Large buffet of slightly below average and very salty yet mildly-spiced Indian food. I liked it because I like most Indian food, but I don't think I'll be back soon. But maybe you should try it if you wanna eat a lot for 20 bucks. My favorites were the veg dishes especially the eggplant, the lamb meatballs, the pakoras, and you can't go wrong with the mango ice cream machine!“

“We love Little Tibet! (Especially at our favorite St. Johns/Peninsula food cart pod!) The momos and curry are The Best (I could eat momos every day the rest of my life and be happy... perhaps even chubbier, but quite content.) Tashi and Lahkpa are genuinely beautiful people, which makes the food even better.“

“The food was very good and they have aor of vegetarian options, which is awesome. The wait was very long but the food was delicious. These carts don't have much ambiance but there are a lot of choices which is nice. I would recommend this cart if you are a vegetarian. I got the veggie coconut korma mild, it was awesome.“

“My husband and I had heard great things about this cart, so we came and got a ton of food to give it a try. We are so glad we did! The word of mouth is absolutely correct. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly spiced. Plus the portions are very generous. Our stand outs: chicken biryani, lamb curry, and veggie pakoras. The biryani may be one of the best I’ve had anywhere, we both had to throw away our spoons to stop eating it. The lamb is tender and the curry flavor is deep and rich and flavorful. The pakoras are more substantial than others I’ve had, but they had great flavor and I loved the coriander chutney they came with. This cart is a gem and I can’t wait to go back for more!“
