I lovee seeing vegan Chinese restaurants thrive like this one. Staff are super friendly and service was quick. I had the fiery wind noodles (GF rice noodles) and the spice level was perfect. Lots of flavor! The vegan chicken was so unique as well.

Good dim sum is something this vegan Chinese American misses a lot, so I'm always on the lookout for really good vegan dim sum when I can get it, but this is like looking for a unicorn in most places. Ah, but Portland, of course! Jade Rabbit had several guilty-pleasure dim sum items that were delicious: fried "crab" wontons, BBQ baos, dumplings, potstickers, and lotus-wrapped sticky rice. Buddha Bodai in NYC is still the exemplar for vegan dim sum, but Jade Rabbit...
Beautiful ambience and food like no other restaurant in Portland. We hosted my husband's birthday there and it was perfect. Excellent service and the brought out his cake with candles and everything.
