The “pulled pork mac and cheese” was disappointing, just a serving of pulled pork with a side of dry Mac with very little cheese.

The lady at the food cart was very nice. However I found the food itself to be disappointing. The mac and cheese was tasted like just boiled macaroni and butter, no seasoning or cheese. Brisket was tough, dry and the bbq sauce was seemingly just sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Corn bread muffin was good.

Place is top notch, had the BBQ chicken and rib tips and they were finger licking good! The cornbread muffin was superb and had the southern fries and they were amazing!

I had a long day at work in 90+ degree weather. Stopped here for food after the long day and the ribs were more than excellent! The customer service was above and beyond; employee made sure I got the liquids I needed!

So kind! Gentleman makes the potato salad and his sister makes the Mac & cheese. Got to try both but the potato salad was out of this world!

Had the three meat option with pulled pork, brisket, and ribs and they were all absolutely amazing. We are visiting from San Diego where Phil's BBQ reign supreme and I think JJ's is on par, if not better, than Phil's! Not only that, Tim's service was exceptional; it made a wonderful lunch experience for me and my family.

I recently visited JJ’s Louisiana BBQ while visiting portland for a family trip and I was blown away by the entire experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with each bite bursting with smoky, savory flavors that left me wanting more. The ribs were perfectly tender, the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the sides were just as tasty.

What truly set this place apart, though, was the wonderful customer service. The owner was incredibly friendly, attentive, and generous. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, from offering excellent foods to checking in frequently to see if we needed anything.

I can't recommend JJ’s Louisiana BBQ highly enough for anyone looking for a fantastic BBQ meal with top-notch service. I would definitely want to come back in the future. :)
