I travel to Portland every three to five years. On those trips, I make it a point to visit LRT for a movie or two. I enjoy the comfortable seats and small theaters. I always have dinner and a glass of wine. I can’t get that movie experience back home!
Best dine in theater in Portland! Also hands down best popcorn. They make their own in house carmel corn too if you are lucky to get a bag before it sells out. Very nice staff too!
This is a cool theater with cool people. The sound is really good and the movie quality is great also. The bar seating is cool and comfy - I’d go to this theater just to hang out at the bar, but not to see a movie again.
The popcorn? Cold.
And the theater? Cold also.
The “couch seating?” Not a couch, they also don’t even recline.
If someone looked to me for a suggestion of a good theater I’d suggest Studio One, and EVEN certain Regal theaters over this one. Again it’s not a bad theater, it’s just not a good one. But it’s got a great bar and great employees.
Support local!
Cheap drinks. Cheap tickets prices on Monday /Tuesday!
The staff are so friendly.
The food is good the drinks are good and the movies are fabulous.
My favorite movie theatre in Portland.
Never disappointed over the years! Excellent choice of movie, good food, good IPA… wonderful experience!
Theater was a little loud for only 5 people watching the movie. Very handicap friendly Theater.
Movies, couches, food, chill but only physical cards (no scanner for digital payment). Friendly people.
Have been really nice after a few years break

Staff are very warm and kind. Lines seem to be for both movie tickets and bar/food, which can be slow. The line to order blocks the kitchen door, which is very obviously stressful for staff and guests. Movie selection is good. Back row of seats in theaters are very uncomfortable and should be half price for this reason; if you call yourself living room theater, that is fine for 90% of your guests, but the ones who end up with back row $hit seats should get a discount. Or replace those $hitty chairs. Also the screen that allows folks to choose their movie seats at checkout sucks; it is confusing and you know it.
Great intimate theater with great movie prices and amenities.
They have a full bar where you can vibe before your showing. The theater rooms are small and cozy.
Great theater. Helpful staff. Clean establishment. Theater was incredibly dark when entering. Maybe some floor lights around seats and stairs would be helpful. But was good to watch the movie in darkness. Seats could do with a vacuum.
I love this theater. It is intimate with interesting movies and the added plus of being able to get real food if one is so inclined.
