It took a while to get our drinks. We wouldn't have minded the wait if we had them first and we had to wait to order food. My daughter didn't like her coffee - too sweet. My nitro beer WAS bitter. I should have read the description better. That is not normal for a nitro tap. We didn't get the happy hour pricing. I should have checked the bill better. The mystic burger was ok. The tater tots were terrific. My daughter didn't like her Jamaican bowl. I tried it too and agree. Weird sweet and hot flavor and not much substance.Vegetarian options: I think they are going through the motions. The vegetarian/ vegan options are so-so.

Just ordered 3 kids meals except when my 3yr old burger came in grown up size and raw I was mortified. Trying to save time by ordering out wasted my time because I had to recook burger and down scale it making it kid friendly.. won't do this again.

Kennedy school has an absolutely amazing atmosphere. This historic building makes for a wonderful dining experience. Food is very good. The schneuben (chicken schnitzel reuben sandwich) was delicious. The only downside is that the service wasn't great. Our server was a bit curt and she definitely seemed like she didn't want to be there. She was never mean or anything, but she had a bit of a sour tone. Also, water was never refilled unless I specifically asked for more water. It's just a little thing but it makes a difference with the experience.

The food was deemed great by the 9 people in our group; the assortment of beers was amazing. The 3 desserts we shared were very good. Our server was outstanding. A delightful dinner!

Nothing spectacular on this visit, our waiter appeared to be relatively new, but very helpful. The only downside was getting our appetizers 15 seconds before the entre. I'm sure that's a multiple kitchen management issue.

Come for the soaking pool and cinema, go elsewhere for food. McMenamins puts so much effort into creating dynamic spaces, and yet so little effort into their menu and food execution. The menu is reminiscent of a suburban chain restaurant; and this feedback is across the board for McMenamins locations. I have yet to have a good meal at a McMenamins. With so many great gastopubs in Portland, I’m surprised that McMenamins hasn’t joined the game.

Really unique and fun environment. My group of 8 was just here for dinner, but the facilities are amazing to walk around. Dinner for our group was reasonable and delicious. A wide variety of well prepared dishes. Service was friendly. Worked well for our group dinner. Was quiet enough to hear the folks around the table and we felt welcome. Parking in the back is convenient too. I can see it would also be a great place for kids. Lot's of kids food and fun around the hotel and restaurant property.

This place is amazingly unique. I love how you can hear yourself think -- unlike so many eateries today where noise bounces off hard surfaces and exposed pipes and ducts until you are prit-near bonkers.
