I made a reservation and arrived to discover it was not very busy on a Sunday night. Very nice looking pub style and very quiet (at least on this night). Found the menu somewhat limited as far as selections with many out of my usual likes, but that's just my taste. My wife and I both chose the Crystal Smash burger. I got the tater tots with mine. My wife got the fires. The tots and fries were both cooked perfectly. The burgers were a good size and the beef was very delicious....

Stopped by Hal’s Cafe earlier this month and really enjoyed it. I had the Margherita Flatbread and a Dark and Stormy — both were super tasty. The flatbread was fresh and had great flavor, and the drink was spot on. Service was solid too — friendly and quick. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Both meals were amazing! Burgers are not my daughter's fave meal but she was really impressed and said it was good. I had the steelhead and it was perfect and flavorful. I will be back if I'm ever in Portland again
