Visited Miss Delta in Portland and had a mixed experience. The service was good, which I appreciated, but my drink came in a dirty glass. I ordered the pulled pork, it had good flavor but was too watery, and serving it in a paper boat made it soggy. The highlight of the meal was definitely the mac and cheese rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious.”
We ended up there quite by accident, and it was awesome. If you want great southern food, this is the place. I highly recommend the cajun shrimp and grits. Also, their fried oysters were the best I have had in years. Portion sizes were BIG. Wait staff friendly and attentive.

However-
I'll be honest, Not for vegans or dietary sensitivity (go to Gravy next door).
The only thing I could order (home style potatoes with eggs) was So spicy it wasn't edible.
The mamosa was ok.
Sorry miss delta, after wanting to try this for many years; disappointed was def the word the resonates with all folks in my party.
