We are long time customers of Petuina’s and recommend them. We’ve enjoyed their cakes, bars, cookies and other treats. The owners are lovely and atmosphere great.
We arrived an hour after opening and one of the doughnut flavors was already sold out. The blueberry lemon doughnut had a good glaze, but was more like bread than a doughnut. The Sausage Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich was on a buttery biscuit which was tasty, but crumbly. My partner's coffee took quite a while to receive. Tip: Arrive early for a bigger selection of treats.
Went later in the day so not everything I wanted to try was available. Got the animal cookie and salted caramel bar. Both were super delicious.
Breaks all rules of what’s possible with GF/Vegan creations. Mouth watering to even think about. Their food and their desserts are both top of line.
We stopped in for the first time today. I absolutely recommend! Friendly atmosphere and great food!
Great little cafe that's entirely plant based and gluten free. Beautiful space and beautiful desserts. The breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Highly recommended!
Very impressive space- beautifullly designed with comfortable seating. Food is excellent!
I have been enjoying Petunia's since they opened. The interior is cute with limited seating. I love how I can find some of their goods all throughout the PDX area and know exactly what I'm getting myself into. Their cake slices are massive. The cupcakes are deathly sweet, and a few of their baked goods I can never get enough of. The savory menu items are a nice add so it doesn't feel like I'm just eating cupcakes for lunch, but honestly, is that so bad? My two top picks of all time are the birthday babycake cupcake and the thin mint brownie. I have eaten more of these than I'd like to admit. I have not tried the ice cream but really need to!
Can’t say enough great things about this place. Cool people and great vibes. The food is delicious all around. What a gem! You got to try everything:)
Tons of variety in options. Love that is both gluten free and vegan’

My partner and I are lucky enough to live walking distance from this place and we are addicted! This is a family-owned bakery with kind and friendly employees and some of the best baked goods you will ever eat. The music is great and the interior is beautiful. You MUST stop by!!
Stumbled upon this spot while looking for ice cream, and found the cutest shop filled with gluten free and vegan friendly treats. Five/six flavors of coconut based vegan ice cream and tons of baked goods like animal cookies, cinnamon buns, mint brownies, etc. Behind the counter, Moss was the absolute sweetest and made our first stop on our anniversary outing a great one! Thank you so much!
Not only did they get the order wrong, it was strawberry when it was supposed to be lemon, the cake was dry, flavorless, and nothing like what was promised…
What’s worse is how the bakery handled it. Instead of taking responsibility, they were dismissive and condescending, despite clear evidence they got the order wrong. For a company that’s built a reputation on quality, this was shockingly unprofessional.
I attended a wedding where the cake was from Petunia’s, and it was a major disappointment, dry, flavorless, and not at all what had been promised. Guests were excited for it, but it fell flat.
Even worse was the bakery’s response. Rather than owning the mistake, they were dismissive and unprofessional. For a place known for quality, it was surprisingly poor service. I wouldn't recommend this business.
