Came into this restaurant on the weekend, and while it was pretty busy, I only waited about five minutes to get seated—not bad at all considering how packed it was. And honestly, I can see why it was so busy. The pho was excellent—simple ingredients but packed with rich flavor. The service was fast, and the staff was attentive, making sure everything was just right. Overall, I had a great meal and a really good time. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for quality...
It all started with a Reddit post by a Vietnamese American foodie who listed the best Vietnamese restaurants in Portland and what dishes should be ordered at each restaurant. It was duck and bamboo noodle soup in this place and it was buried in the middle section of a very extensive menu. It was simply outstanding. The duck meat was satisfyingly fatty but didn't spoil the broth. I will try other dishes next time. Don't be fooled by the filthy neighborhood and unimpressive...
Amazing Vietnamese food! Yum yum! They have an extensive menu so we try to pick different dishes every visit.
