Amazing food, the burgers were exceptional. The one thing I didn’t appreciate was that I purchased the waffle fries and received tater tots. If you’re out of a product at least tell your customers. It’s more honest that way I wouldn’t feel so scammed. Other than that customer service was great from everyone. If you get your purveyors in order maybe you wouldn’t sell out and have to close at 5pm.

Beat burger in town so far, smoky taste and their waffle fries with a touch, I mean alot of Parmesan cheese on top are delicious, and friendly as well 👏👍

Fine, disappointing smash burgers with nothing unique or to get excited about. The smash sauce and garlic aioli fry sauce tasted nothing but plain mayonnaise. The Google Maps location was not correct and directed us elsewhere. I didn't appreciate the service either.

I would've preferred a cheap McDouble.

Amazing smash burger. Just what you need and want when you think of the archetypical thing. Got the western - did not disappoint, and the jalapenos were plenty spicy for those who want a bit of kick that other spots lack. 10/10

I've had Pleasure Burger twice now, and I unfortunately felt a bit disappointed each time. Both times, I thought the burgers were pretty good, but not mind-blowing, leaving a bit to be desired. For those eager to read more about one person's opinion and taste preferences, here's why:

-Patties: Don't get me wrong, I love a good smash burger! (Love Lo's Burgers and Sureshot!). However, I personally find these burgers "too smashed", and it makes it seem like your burger is mostly bun and not enough meat.
-Toppings: Again, not enough toppings in my opinion. I was REALLY looking forward to trying the peanut butter pickle burger, but it was honestly hard to detect either. Apparently there was bacon on the burger too, but I didn't taste this at all (I had to check it was actually there, which isn't something people should have to do to know a topping is there). From what I saw, it looks like the toppings are also too thin to be noticeable.
-Flavor: The flavor of the truffle fries, especially the lemony dipping sauce, was delish! However, both burgers I've tried, I didn't find either particularly flavorful, despite trying two of their more "adventurous" burgers. The peanut butter sauce in particular, I personally found a bit bland.
-Price: I am happy to pay for a high-quality meal. $12 isn't too much, but it is on the higher end of the scale as far as smash burgers go. Considering I felt there was neither enough meat nor toppings (and of note, still felt hungry afterwards), this certainly feels overpriced when comparing to their competitors.

Overall, I personally don't find Pleasure Burger worth the money and think there are better options elsewhere at this time. That said, I do think they have a lot of potential-- the menu is solid, but would like to see the execution improved.

BEST SMASH BURGERS!!!
Hands down most delicious burgers, smash sauce, and waffle fries!
The owner and staff are friendly, polite, and down to earth.
The smash burger was perfectly crispy on the edges and smashed just right.
I’ve never tried peanut butter on a burger and after talking to the owner he said “trust me, you’ll be surprised” and did a small spoon tasting and just HOLY CRAP! This man knows how to pair all the right ingredients and bring the best quality possible.
I’m from TN and would fly back to Portland JUST TO EAT AT PLEASURE BURGER!
Just hit me up when y’all decide to open a spot in Knoxville TN. ;) we’ll be seeing y’all again!

Loved the THIN and CRISPY edges of the smash burger! :chef kiss: The menu was simple but delicious and the smash sauce……YUM! The staff was so friendly and made great conversation with us while we ate. Definitely a must eat in Portland! Hoping for some expansion to the east coast some day! ;-)
