“I went through the drive thru since i’m on my lunch and have limited time. I ordered a 6 piece blackened chicken with red beans and rice. The blackened chicken is absolutely to die for. Amazing flavor, texture, and just the right kind of juicy. Absolutely applaud. I cannot say anything about the Red bean and rice as i got mashed potatoes and gravy instead ): i can’t rate those since im not able to eat it. Everything else was amazing. The cashier at the window was chill.“

“So not all Popeye's are created equal. This location on MLK has always seemed to know what they're doing. The stores clean and the staff are friendly, both to each other and the customers...heard laughter and jokes on more than one occasion while eating there. I tend to go for the tenders, Mac, mashed potatoes and gravy, popcorn shrimp and sometimes the chicken sandwich. I wish they would bring back the jambalaya, miss that stuff“

California. Since early 2023 I have
lived in Portland Oregon. Popeye's
is my Chicken of choice when I don't cook myself.

“We love chicken and the price is ok it just the service we just don't understand why the music got to be so loud and the employees got to yell at each other either and especially bad words in Spanish just because you don't think we speak it or even if you know we do why talk like that I have young kids and I try my best not for them to hear stuff like that I try and teach them to be respectful to people especially coworkers I know it might be ok to them to play like that but it doesn't look good in front of the customer had to ask three times for hot sauce and the girl just rolled her eyes and grab some and put it in the bag and walked away it sad how fast food is going down hill with service gonna have to find a different chicken place I guess. I don't want my children to think it ok to talk like that to anyone I know we aren't perfect but I try to teach respect especially in public“

“I order food from this popeyes once every couple weeks. Usually everything is on point, no complaints, but just got served wings that tasted and felt like they were under the heat lamp for a week.

I get it that things happen, but I know yall are better than this popeyes. I'll come back but gonna be watching out, don't want to stay a regular if this is what I get.“

“This location is the closest to my home and Sami the assistant manager has always provided such kind and genuine customer service. As someone who has also worked in the food industry, I know there are days that can feel and be long. Every time I’ve picked up food here, Sami has always had such positive and uplifting energy.

I truly hope management values and takes the time to recognize Sami, because workers like him are very hard to come by.
