River Pool and Sports Bar, River Art Gallery is a classic dive bar with a nice, mellow atmosphere during the week. The space fosters community, hosting events like watch parties, and is a place for people to socialize. It features pool tables, lots of big screens to watch the games, video lottery, and a full bar. The atmosphere is very nice for hanging out, though it can be a loud music, dive-bar environment that gets pretty busy on weekends with security at the door.
The food is good, way above average, and legit. Specific items like the pepperoni pizza are tasty with a good crust, and the tenders are very nice. Drinks are good, including Cold Rainier tallboys. The staff is great, with patient and awesome bartenders who make people feel welcome and taken care of. Food and drinks come out in a reasonable time. It is a recommended spot for a drink, some late night food, or dinner before a show.
