Being a Texas transplant, my husband and I have yet to find a decent fried chicken joint that we love. 10/10! Seriously, it was tender, juicy, yet stayed crispy! I’d come back for the fried chicken alone! Also had the HH pupusas revueltas. They were packed with filling, the masa was soft center crispy outside, and was brilliantly paired with the spicy salsa and curtido. Next time I’m in the city, I’ll definitely be stopping here!! I got the nachos and a papusa, and both are incredible. The nacho plate is huge! All of the beers (i tried 3) are wonderful! And this is coming from someone who does eat gluten regularly. The service was great - everyone I interacted with was personable and kind. The lighting is cozy without being dim, and the noise level is very comfortable.
