Nice to sit down in an uncrowded restaurant and have a tasty breakfast and coffee

2024 Nov: still great. The 3 piece fried chicken lunch is delicious and huge.

Sat at the counter overlooking Concourse B, which is bright, airy, and decorated with greenery. Service was friendly and thoughtful. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over medium. It was pretty good and a nice way to kick off morning travels. Coffee was also fine. I would come again for the atmosphere and friendly service.

19 dollars for a standard breakfast and coffee. Underwhelming really. I’d recommend trying something else on their menu. Service is great though. Only restaurant in Concourse B.

Sat for 10 minutes and no one came to take my order. 3 other tables arrived after I did and had their orders taken before me. I waited another 10 minutes and nothing so I left.

Morning bar tender was awful. Completely rude. Surprised this is allowed at a place like screen door.

The only thing with seasoning in this place was the salty attitude of the waitress/bartender. Over priced food (it’s an airport, I get it - but I could have gotten a better tasting take away salad in half the time from McDonalds.
I got the Caesar salad and the only thing crunchy on it were the greens (thankfully). Stale croutons and a rubbery disc of Parmesan ‘crisp’. Zero flavour in the dressing and the chicken was rock hard and dry- possibly grilled earlier in the day. That’s fine, but if that’s the case it should not take 30mins to put together with hardly anyone in the building to serve.

If I could put zero for service I would. The woman behind the bar was off putting and rude, it felt like I was putting her off cus they were trying to close - as said one staff member ‘ I wanna get the hell outta here’.
It’s a shame because this restaurant has such a great rep, hope the new airport outpost doesn’t ruin it.

Best airport eatery I have had in a long time. Great service. Excellently tasty food. Not expecting this at an airport

My ratings are relative. This is an airport cafe. 16 bucks for a solid breakfast. That will do just fine, thank you. Tasty and crispy and the staff was nice. I’m sure they deal with all sorts of Travel Folk. You know the ones.

I really appreciate that PDX doesn’t let their vendors price gouge.

Oysters were crispy (yay) and burnt (boo). I’ve enjoyed plump crispy beauties at in town locations, but $14 for 5 barely bite sized burnt offerings at PDX was a disappointment. Re the atmosphere- an airport, even a beautifully renovated one, has a stressful energy. Service was excellent, a truly down home southern welcome! and I am thankful for that.

Staff have great energy with wa other and work well as a team, which is rare for an airport. Good catfish, good whiskey drinks. No regrets.

I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the 'Big Breakfast' is worth passing on. They use what appears to be powdered eggs and microwave sausages. It's pretty disappointing. Was expecting a much fresher meal.

Ordered drinks first. Ten minutes later waitress came back for food order and said bartender was busy. Drinks came 5 min.later. breakfast was not only cold but terrible, eggs over easy were superballs, toast was cold and not browned. No sense in explaining further. Paid for drinks, sent food back and decided we get something in reno
There are great places in concourse C. Don't waste you time here. 8/26/2]24 @ 5:00. Couldn't help but hear other people complaining ?.

The airport Screen Door experience is nothing like the Burnside location. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s new but there are many unpleasant kinks to be worked out. Lowlights: staff standing around talking while we waited to order (since the QR code option wouldn’t work), empty dirty tables throughout the entire experience, one of our orders was wrong, eggs and veggie sausage were cold and we waited a long time to pay our bill as staff walked by, saw the card sitting out and continued on. Unfriendly, inattentive and indifferent staff didn’t help. Do better, Screen Door!
