Smaaken Waffle Sandwiches, located in Hawthorne Asylum food trucks, offers a variety of tasty waffle sandwiches. The Chicken BLT with Sriracha aioli was a great mix of flavors, while the Strawberry Jam and Vanilla Lemon Bavarian Cream sandwich was perfectly sweet and crispy. The Beet Napoleon was enjoyable but could benefit from an additional sauce. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is great.
