Worst place I've been to. $10 for a "hot dog" that was more like a burnt pepperoni stick in a large bun. 😳 I would never visit again.

So it was great that this was an old church. I believe our waitress could have been more hospitable. Wasn't impressed by the food. Wings were fatty, the asparagus was good.

AUTUMN!!! She’s amazing! Best server in town. She knew everything we wanted to know about the menu. She was so helpful and attentive. I can’t say more about how great she was. Her attitude was so pleasant and I love her. I hope she never leaves! What a great experience.

Wow what a great place! I’m really picky about my beer and my bar food but this place blew my mind. Plus the service is top notch. Autumn was so fun and made our meal even better with her friendly attitude and funny jokes. I’ll definitely be back!

food is surprisingly delicious! i enjoyed the zucchini corn salad with pork belly. beer is delicious, classic spot in portland for creative and tasty brews. Autumn was our server and took great care of us!

I had the absolute pleasure of trying these loaded fries and tacos, and they were nothing short of phenomenal! The loaded fries were a flavor explosion—perfectly crispy fries topped with tender pulled meat, fresh herbs, tangy pickled onions, and a creamy drizzle that tied it all together beautifully. The textures were spot-on, with the crunch of the fries complemented by the richness of the toppings.

The tacos were just as incredible—vibrant, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The perfectly spiced, slow-cooked filling paired wonderfully with the zesty pickled onions and crunchy pepitas. Each bite was a delightful balance of savory and tangy, with the fresh herbs adding a fragrant touch.

Both dishes showcased thoughtful attention to detail and an abundance of bold, complementary flavors. Whether you’re a fries fan or a taco enthusiast, these dishes will leave you thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates gourmet street food done right! Fun spot. Difficult to have a conversation with a full house. Conversations echo and reverb given geometry of the structure.

I hosted a half day business meeting in the TV Lounge at Steeplejack. The space was perfect, the food was amazing and the service was great. My team felt supported and taking a meeting off site was a nice treat for our team. We had a lunch buffet and the day concluded with a Happy Hour. I highly recommend this place.

What an awesome Brewery and restaurant! This place checked all the boxes! Service was outstanding from the folks greeting us and seating is to the people serving us. Really great people working here. The food was excellent, with the chicken sandwich being one of the best I've ever had! Beer was the primary reason for our visit and we weren't disappointed. Really nice selection and unique offerings in addition to some rock solid clean and simple beers line the Bohemian. Very impressive and definitely something for everyone (they also have a full bar). The space itself and atmosphere in general was really special too. They did an amazing job transforming this old church into a great social space, maintaining all the really cool architectural themes of the original building. Steepjack was recommended by a beertender at another brewery and I'm really happy we had a chance to visit. I hope to be back one day!

the food is delicious, and the service is lightning-fast. it’s located in a repurposed church building and has some really pretty stained glass art. there’s also private rooms with TVs available and the staff is nice. if they’re making beer it smells strongly of hops. anyways, i totally recommend this.
