A nice spot to get some authentic Taiwanese fare. We were originally going to dine at Din Tai Fung, but the wait for walk-ins was north of two hours. Came here and was promptly served - an underrated spot! We are vegetarian and really enjoyed the tofu platter. My taste buds felt like I was in Taipei.
My first time going here and it has a very cozy atmosphere. The food’s not bad, despite being a bit pricey. The owner is really nice and they have a variety of novelty drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) that you won’t be able to find here in the states. A once in a while, special occasion place, to eat at.
Tiny place, excellent food, limited menu (hence "bistro"), authentic. Check the menu before you go to make sure this place is for you. Where I live, this is the type of place you wouldn't see many non-Chinese customers. Or, not so long ago dishes like many here wouldn't be on the English menu. Glad that's changed! I'll be back, for sure. I need to add the black tea I had here is next level! Details like that matter, and shows their dedication...
