I'm giving a 5 even though it wasn't a 5 experience, but the negative reviews miss some basic info. Went for lunch on a Friday and we were the only ones (maybe its more of a nighttime place). Server was very friendly and helpful. He was clearly the only staff on site, which if nothing else, is simply not safe (one person can not watch the front of house, prep the food, make the drinks at the same time. A nice spot to get some authentic Taiwanese fare. We were originally going to dine at Din Tai Fung, but the wait for walk-ins was north of two hours. Came here and was promptly served - an underrated spot! We are vegetarian and really enjoyed the tofu platter. My taste buds felt like I was in Taipei.

If I had someone from China with me and they wanted food from home, I wouldn’t feel embarrassed taking them here.
Hope they open up at the new location pronto, the current location on Capitol Highway is just not great for garnering customers.
