Isaiah is the best bartender
They sell “bagel with cream cheese” then give you one tiny cup then sell the rest of the cream cheese for the other side for 50 cents. What a rip off. I told them how are you going to sell a bagel with cream cheese when one cup barely covers one side of the bagel? False advertising
The good: The cashier was friendly when taking orders. The not-so-good: Although the croissant looked scrumptious in the display case, the actual one I got (prepared by the cashier) was as flat as a thick piece of toast.
Celine, the host at pdx, Has been a wonderful host very attentive loved the service highly recommend.
I was excited to return to The Country Cat, having been to their restaurant in SE Portland. I was disappointed to find that the airport location is more of a café. It was small, with only a few tables. All the sandwiches are pre-made and held cold in a glass case, then warmed in a toaster oven. I chose the egg, pesto, and provolone sandwich. It was OK tasting, a bit dry and kind of bland (stale?). It was a convenient stop into the airport for a person flying out of PDX, which that day I was, but I would not go out of my way to visit that specific location again.
Given the high quality of the bread and coffee, I was disappointed that the breakfast sandwiches had American kraft singles in them. Yuck. Come on this is the land of Tillamook cheese you can do better.
Nice relaxing place to grab a bite before or after your flight. Wine selection was nice and the waitress/bartender selene (everything girl) was running around helping everyone with a smile and had so much patience with everyone for being slammed !
Selene is one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. Not just airport bartenders, but best bartenders period. Friendly and professional, she made there time enjoyable and had great suggestions for food and drinks. She's literally THE BEST!
Great service, fresh food, strong Bloody Mary’s. Can’t complain!
worst chai ever (watery; odd taste. only available cold). inattentive service.
won’t be back

They've been my go-to at PDX for years. Locally owned, friendly/consistent staff, fresh food, fair [airport consistent] pricing.
I'll be back!

We decided to have coffee here to promote local after debating between this place vs Pete's coffee. We sat down & settled with luggage and started to have coffee. Server came and told us , "You can't sit here and just have coffee, You need to order something in addition to coffee to able to sit ".

Very expensive: $13 for about a 6 inch ham and cheese sandwich. Prices aren’t marked on the display case. Taste wasn’t that great either. The bread was a bit stale, and there was a sweetness to the sandwich I didn’t enjoy.
