It was our first time in and all we had was a vegetarian deep dish pizza but it did not disappoint. The location is super prime in the heart of the pearl district. Definitely an uptown classy kind of vibe but with a Boston-cool atmosphere (coming from someone who's never been to Boston (Like there could have been a downtempo jazz band somewhere in the room.)) Just had deep dish pizza that totally compares to the Chicago Lou Malnatis we're used to. Honestly will stop ordering lous to Portland now that we found the Star! Amazingly light deep dish crust with delectable toppings that melt in your mouth! Got a cozy seat by the fire on a damp rainy day. Thanks for bringing REAL deep dish to PDX!!

Came in very quickly for a drink and a small appetizer on a Sunday and sat at the bar. I'm really sad I don't remember the name of the drink or the super friendly bartender who took our order, but will definitely be back! We had some of the sourdough bread and butter as an app and it was just the prefect carb filled treat my stomach was looking for (seriously)! Can't wait to come back and try some more!
