Portland restaurants complain about limited diners in the evening. Yet, they close up shop so early. They switch to their “late night” menu at 8:00 pm!!! The late night menu has 5 options. Really hard to call it a restaurant at that point. The patrons will not return if you have nothing to offer them.
Great service, delicious cocktails & food (roasted chicken; Steak Frites, potato medley, parm fries; creme brulee'). Noise level started out as "quiet and came to a moderate level by the time we left to get to our show. Very pleasant atmosphere, although we probably would have preferred to not hear some of the conversation coming from the cooks in the kitchen, given what was being said. Might be important to remind the cooks that guests in the dining room can hear...
